My teacher didn't give us very good guidelines for the first research essay of the semester and I am really confused as to how to go about writing it. He really won't answer my emails so I'm kind of stuck. Is there a basic formating that a research essay has to be in general? I don't want to get counted off for stupid and fixable mistakes.
