I'm really not that into writing essays or anything (not that anyone really is) but I just find myself hardcore procrastinating when it comes to writing anything. Does anyone have any helpful tips for getting past that? A lot of people have told me to break it down but my mind just doesn't seem to work that way. Anyways, I need to choose a famous person to write about and any tips for that would be appreciated too.

Hey Dustin! Here are several tips to overcome writer’s block:

  • Pick an intriguing topic. While the content of your essay is essential to success, everything rests on the interesting topic.
  • Assign deadlines. Create a timetable and set milestones. For example: ‘By Sept. 1 – write introduction and select sources’, ‘By Sept. 3 – make outline of the body with sections’ and so on.
  • Put all distractions away. Usually our inability to write doesn’t mean that we’re bad at writing, but rather that we get distracted. Just put your phone away for an hour, and you will definitely find it easier to start writing!
  • Outsource your task to professionals. Forget about procrastination and buy essay for college from work2-me.com at the link.

Answering your second question about a famous person. Make sure that you like the personality you chose. Do you enjoy politics? Write a paper about John Addams or Margaret Thatcher. Do you like listening to British music? Choose John Lennon or Freddie Mercury. Remember that the main thing is to select the famous person who inspires you!

Good luck!
